ISC'22 in Hamburg (DE): ESiWACE poster and DKRZ exhibition booth

ISC High Performance 2022, a major event for High Performance Computing, Machine Learning and Data Analytics, is currently taking place in Hamburg as an on-site event and themed #TransformingTheFuture. A number of ESiWACE partner institutions are involved in activities at ISC'22, e.g. with conference exhibition booths, as listed here.

Poster presentation

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022 Erwan Raffin (Atos) presented a project poster focusing on the ESiWACE2 HPC user-service "Model Refactoring and Porting", which had been jointly submitted with Ben van Werkhoven (NLeSC), David Guibert (Atos) and Julia Duras (DKRZ).

Exhibition

At its booth no. H801 DKRZ provides information on its new supercomputer "Levante" including the opportunity to sign up for a guided tour of the new system. On a large 4k touch screen, visitors to the booth can get a glimpse of current, high-resolution global climate visualisations.
