DYAMOND data analysis contest at UMAP 2022

The GEWEX Global Atmospheric System Studies Panel (GASS) will hold its 3rd Pan-GASS Meeting, Understanding and Modeling Atmospheric Processes (UMAP 2022) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Monterey, CA, USA, from 25-29 July 2022.

The event aims to bring together weather and climate scientists, including both observationalists and modelers, to discuss the key issues of atmospheric science. The purpose of the conference is to discuss progress in understanding atmospheric processes and representing them in models, to coordinate current initiatives and make plans for the future. One main theme of the meeting is "Towards global km-scale modeling and Digital Twins of the Earth System". Here our work at ESiWACE perfectly fits in. Therefore, ESiWACE suports a DYAMOND data analysis contest for early career researchers. The winner will receive travel support.
