Abstract: Euroexa is a H2020 Towards Exascale FETHPC co-design project that is undertaking a holistic view across the entire hardware infrastructure and software stack to reconsider many of the inherited assumptions about how the resources of a computer connect and interact so as to maximize computational efficiency. This talk offered a journey from how energy is provided to the system, how the electronics and processing subsystems interact, the computational models and its acceleration and interconnect through to what the system does to enable a meaningful reuse of the computational byproduct - heat.
